Mahindra SsangYong Tivoli displayed at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016

As reported earlier, Mahindra has showcased its latest compact SUV, the SsangYong Tivoli, at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016. Note that this vehicle was first unvieled at the Geneva Motor Show held last year. It is expected to post a challenge to the likes of Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta, Maruti S-Cross and Ford Ecosport.

Tivoli is a perfect car for those who wish for both style and practicality. It has dominated the Korean compact SUV market since its launch and has also gained recognition from overseas markets, including Europe.

Tivoli is high powered and highly fuel efficient. It is launched in both diesel and petrol variants, engine capacity being 1.6 litres. The gearbox is a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission in both the fuel variants.

The SsangYong Tivoli comes with angular headlamps and slim grille on the front. It features diamond cut alloy wheels. The tail lamps are curved.

On the interior, the seats are made up of leather, and come in three color variants, viz. black, red and beige. The infotainment system comprises of a 3.5-ich touchscreen display. The vehicle comes with automatic climate control.

As far as the safety features are concerned, Tivoli includes seven airbags, ABS, ESP and pressure monitoring system for tyres.

Launch dates for India are yet to be revealed.
