Yamaha MT-09 with 847 cc engine launched for 10.2 lacs

In order to strengthen its super-bike segment in the Indian market, Yamaha has launched the all new Roadster Motard, theYamaha MT-09 at the Delhi Auto Expo. John Abraham unveiled the new model.  Note that this model is already successful around the world.

The all new Yamaha MT-09 mounts a newly developed 847 cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, in-line triple-cylinder, fuel-injected engine with ABS technology. Yamaha MT-09 is targeted towards the youth who are looking for excitement, power and style.

Main features of the bike include a strong and light compact engine, long suspension stroke for excellent road holding in all road conditions, presence of ABS technology. It boasts of a fuel efficiency of around 19 kmpl. With minimalistic design frills, this bike is aimed at providing an exciting riding experience. It aims to achieve an excellent balance of both high performance and fuel efficiency.

The bike will be available in Race Blue and Matt Grey color options. The MT-09 has been planned and developed as the flagship model of the MT series and is priced at INR 10.2 lacs (ex-showroom Delhi). Yamaha’s latest motorcycle will be available at selected dealers across the country.
