Audi R8 Spyder V10 steals the show at New York International Auto Show 2016

Just imagine zooming from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.6 seconds and further cruising to a top speed of 318 kmph. That's super fast! Isn't it? Yes, we are talking about all the new Audi R8 Spyder V10 that boasts of a 397 kW (540 hp) engine that delivers sheer performance. Audi unveiled this convertible super sports car at the New York International Auto Show 2016.

Highlights of the Audi R8 Spyder V10

• Mighty 5.2 liter engine that develops 540 hp of power and 540 NM of torque @ 6,500 RPM mated to a S-Tronic seven speed dual-clutch transmission. 
• The new Audi Space Frame made of aluminium and carbon fibre components, making it super light at 1,612 kilograms.
• Lightweight cloth hood connected to an electro-hydraulic drive that allows opening and closing of the hood in 20 seconds, upto a speed of 50 kmph.
• Steering wheel with multifunction and satellite push buttons, 12.3-inch fully digital Audi virtual cockpit that presents vehicle information including driving dynamics using rich 3D graphics.
• MMI Navigation plus with MMI touch with voice control.
• High end infotainment system with Audi Connect that connects the car to the internet via LTE, and provides a wide range of information.
• Uncompromised build quality and equipment, LED headlights with laser technology that provides maximum visibility, sports seats with highly contoured seat shape that provides maximum lateral support.
