Yamaha has today launched its latest entry level bike, the Saluto RX, in India. It is an affordable bike designed for the Indian roads.
The Saluto RX mounts an air-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve single-cylinder engine. It is powered by an engine with a more compact combustion chamber than previous 110 cc models released by Yamaha.
This bike is targeted towards young men who are looking for comfort and a sporty look with great fuel efficiency at an affordable price. The maximum torque is 8.5 Nm @ 4,500 rpm.
As per company claims, the Saluto RX offers a mileage of 82 kmpl. The fuel efficiency can be credited to the weight-reducing designs of the engine, the frame and the wheels. The bike is a 110 cc class street model, and is expected to give competition to the likes of Mahindra Centuro, TVS Victor and Honda Dream Yuga.
