Other than the lightweight design and bold style, the Cadillac CT6 sedan includes a first of its kind 360-degree camera system. It is termed the surround-vision video recording system.

There are total seven cameras on the exterior of the CT6, out of which four are used to record the video of the vehicle's surroundings. One camera is placed on the front grille, the other on the rear trunk lid, and one on each rearview mirror on either of the front doors.

There are two ways in which these four cameras can be utilised. Firstly, when the vehicle is moving, the front and rear cameras can be used to record a great drive. Secondly, when the car is parked, all the four cameras combine to act as the vehicle's security system. In case someone tries to hit and run, or break in, it will be easy to send them a ticket. Moreover, the same set of cameras can also help in vehicle manoeuvring by presenting an all round view of the vehicle on the CUE screen.

There is a standard SD card located in the trunk where all the recorded videos are saved. The footage can be downloaded as and when required.

The remaining three cameras (out of the total seven) are used for Rear Camera Mirror, Lane Keep Assist, and Night Vision systems.

The surround-vision video recording system comes as a standard on the Cadillac CT6 Luxury, Premium Luxury and Platinum variants.
