Tesla unveils a cheaper version of their famed Model S starting at $66,000

It has been a couple of months since the launch of the Tesla Model 3. The number of pre-orders during this period have skyrocketed, which just means that you could take delivery of this mass-market car only by the year 2018. Analysing this terrific response, Tesla Motors have now introduced a cheaper version of their Model S, christened Model S 60, where '60' stands for the 60 kWh battery, that powers the car.

Driving enthusiasts could get an upgrade to an All Wheel Drive variant, the Tesla S 60D with an additional $5000. Apart from this, Tesla is providing new customization and upgrades such as air-suspension, auto-pilot, high fidelity sound and sub-zero weather packages to name a few.
