Yamaha FZ25 featuring a 249 cc engine launched in India for 1.2 lacs

Yamaha has today launched their latest motorcycle under the popular FZ series, the Yamaha FZ25, in India at an event held in New Delhi.

To optimise the engine for the Indian traffic and roads, the exhaust and ignition systems of the bike have been fine-tuned. It complies with BS IV emission standards.

Yamaha FZ25 gives a maximum power output of 20.9 PS at 8,000 rpm. The maximum torque achieved is 20 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine used is a 249 cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder. The frame is lightweight and weighs just 148 kgs. The fuel tank capacity is 14 litres.

Yamaha FZ25 blue

The bike comes with the LED headlight, LCD instrument cluster, spoke-design rear wheels, and racing style rear seats. The front disc diameter is 282 mm, while the same for the rear disc is 220 mm. Ground clearance is 160 mm.

Yamaha FZ25 white

Yamaha FZ25 comes in black, blue and white colour variants. It will be available next month onwards. It is priced at 1,19,500 INR (ex-showroom Delhi).
