Mahindra set to infuse new life into Mahindra SsangYong Rexton with a Face-Lift

Mahindra in its aggressive pitch to capture more market share, is constantly coming up with new models or face-lifts. One such entry in the new year, is the Mahindra SsangYong Rexton. Already on sale in Korea, this model is sure to catch a lot of eye bugs in India too.

As per reports, the inbound model with a tentative launch date in Jan-Feb 2016, is likely to get a bunch of cosmetic enhancements and some exciting new features:

• New Radiator grill
• Projector Headlamps
• Daytime-running LED lights
• New Tail light cluster
• Advanced Car Infotainment System
• Multi-function steering wheel
• New Central console and Dashboard

Mahindra is also looking to tune down the engine capacity from the current 2.7 litre Diesel motor to the revamped 2.0 litre Diesel motor.

Since this SUV belongs to the D2 segment, expect the pricing to be between 19-22 lacs INR. Competing with the likes of Toyota Fortuner, Mitsubishi Pajero and Honda CRV is sure going to be a challenge.
